Ex-rugby player. Military family, followed suit.
Science nut though, so CO eventually convinced him to go to Starfleet. Climbed ranks well. Personable, friendly, competant. Rather hard on shuttlecrafts (destroyed several while on board Darwin). An up-and-comer. Kind of like Riker in that aspect. First big command was Terminus Station. All hands were lost in an accident creating an artificial wormhole. Some blamed Nate, but he was completely exonerated in the investigation.

Belasco was always a hard worker, and a skilled organizer, which drew him into adminsitrative services. First, in the JAG's office (where he established an ongoing relationship with Admiral Flemming), and then in Operations on Starbase Phoenix. Belasco was a romantic at heart, and when the lovely new Counselor, Kia Bensu arrived, he was immediately smitten. However, his natural shyness kept him from acting until it was too late. Belasco was, sadly, the first victim of the Madness Plague - a nano-scale biological weapon used by the Dodec to attack the station from within. The bionites slowly drove Belasco into severe psychosis, though the efforts of the Counselor helps keep a small part of him sane until the cure could be found. However, the damage had been done. Coming out of the sickness, he seemed a new man, and went about wooing Counselor Bensu. But she had already struck up a relationship with the dashing Marine Captain Travian, and the heartbreak of finding this out revealed the true depth of the psychological damage Belasco had suffered. He returned to his quarters that night, overrode the environmental controls, and allowed the temperature to fall to near absolute zero, thus killing himself. Ordinarily, this would be the end of an officer's career. However, as a result of the "The Time Shift Effect," Travian Loran traveled back (or forwards, as the case actually was) to that very night, and was able to rescue Belasco *before* he died. Belasco was put on medical leave, and spent time off station in intense counseling. He then returned to Phoenix to start a new life. Now, he has become caught up in the machinations of Commander Jensen's quest to wrest control of the station out of Ssova tra'Fitz's hands. But this time, Belasco may not be so much of the pushover or victim.

Personal Background
Relavtively
toned body frame. Obvious Trill markings visable from the
forehead and down the side of the neck. A constant 5 O'clock
shadow on a prominant, thick-set jaw. Hair dark brown which can
look deceivingly black in the shadows. Posture is up-right,
however, not rigid; commanding, but not overly so. When thinking,
has a tendency to touch his mouth with first and middle finger.
Born on the Trill homeworld, Tobias Stace had an affluent up-bringing. Brought up in a rather small family. Mother, father (naturally) a twin sister and a younger brother. His twin sister decided to continue with the family business of landscaping and did not follow him into the Academy. Excelling at school, Tobias Stace took special interest in the sciences. Commanding a large group of friends, he didn't always realise his full potential in education. Sometimes barely scraping through, however, his natural intelligence would always shine through. He knew when to knuckle down and get the job done when needed. After being accepted into the Trill Joining Program, Tobias Stace dropped out and focused all efforts on this Starfleet Academy entrance. personal_profile: Tobias Stace is a likable and competent gentleman. Talkative, but respectful, he commands a friendly ease with strangers. Not one to 'lose his cool', Stace does, however, display a serious, natural authority and is not a man to be challenged. When relaxed, Stace is both witty and approachable. Passionate about music and literature, he prefers his own company but can easily persuaded to join the crew down in the mess hall for a sociable time. Never really the 'life of the party', Stace would much prefer to laugh than to be laughed at as the enterainment. When thinking, Stace has a tendency to place and/or tap this first and middle fingers on his mouth. This could be seen as a nervous disposition, however, upon studying his face when this happens, it is clear to see that this a result of his concentration. top of page

Kestra graduated at the bottom of her class in high school barely skinning
by. Not until she was accepted into Star Fleet Academy did she get her act together and do the right thing. Always a rebel without a cause, Kestra marches to the beat of her own drummer. She was responsible for several protests, various sit in's and was the poster girl for student rights. Things turned around for Kestra when she attended Officer Candidate School and earned her Warrant Officer Status. Personal
Background
Tall, willowy and striking Kestra possesses
big round almond shaped brown eyes that are almost the color of fudge.
She is a perfect mix of her father who was Betazoid and her mother who
was Deltan. Kestra's eyes and smile are the first thing that attract
the attention of those she meets.
Being half Betazoid and half Deltan have been a blessing a curse to Kestra. Born to highly charged sexual beings Kestra comes by her sex appeal and sexuality quite naturally. Kestra emits pheromones that cause sexual attraction in members of the opposite sex of other species, that coupled with the fact that Kestra is soon approaching the female Betazoid 'Phase', which her Betazoid woman's sex quadruples. Most always happy, funny, and quick with a joke Kestra meshes well with most everyone she encounters. However, she has one pet peeve – she doesn't tolerate liars very well due to her own strong sense of honesty – why lie when the rest of your society can read her mind. She also is uneasy around those minds she can't understand. She would like to marry one day -- but find the right man, who will consent to marry naked has been hard to find. That always seems to be the deal breaker in her relationships. Deeply spiritual -- spiritualism guides Kestra every day. Betazoid mythology centers around the Four Deities, which also represent four aspects of Betazoid life, which Kestra adheres to. Kestra was born on Betazed, her mother Meila a Deltan met her father Tam a Betazoid years ago through a cultural exchange program. They fell in love, married and Kestra was the result. Kestra was a late in life baby, and her parents are now elderly, retired and living peacefully on Betazed. Aloof and a free spirit Kestra didn't care for school much, however she loved people, and the entertainment business. Extraordinarily musical Kestra has been a part of four successful bands that are notorious throughout the Starfleet. At one time Kestra wanted to take up a career in singing, however she found herself as a ship's bar manager instead, pouring drinks, listening to other people's problems, and dispensing her sage advice.

Tau Lacertae IV, being one of the closer planets to the homeworld, was one of the first colonized in the early days of Gorn space exploration. Colonization was based more on nearness than on habitability, and the economy grew around mining what resources could be taken from the planet itself. Still, due to it's place in the early history of the Gorn 'empire' many saw status in living there even after more planets came under Gorn rule. Due to over-crowding, many young Gorn in recent generations have been seeking opportunities to move to another planet. G'ldraarg went through reservist training on Tau Lacertae III where he learned engineering and signed on to the engineering crew of a freighter. When the Gorn learned of access to the Delta Quadrant they wanted to learn more but feared that mounting their own expedition might be viewed as an act of aggression by the species in that area. They therefore decided to arrange a diplomatic exchange of personel with any group in the region who would accept the idea in order to get a representative who could send reports on the Delta Quadrant back to the home world. While not exemplary, G'ldraarg's service record was above average and because he is short for a Gorn (and therefore less intimidating to the people he'd come in contact with) he was called into active duty for this task. top of page

Childhood:
Kia’s mother died in childbirth, however, she lived a
sheltered, but happy childhood. She was raised mainly by her brothers,
due to her Father being a very busy, and very wealthy cargo trader. Kia
learned how to pilot ships very early in her life, as her Father
intended her to go into the 'family business.' Her decision to go into
Starfleet has alienated her from her Father, who holds a passionate
dislike for it.
