The Operations Department ("Ops") is the central focal point for the daily management of personnel and facilities on Starbase Phoenix. This department is comprised of a number of sub-departments which focus on specific areas of station management.
| Facilities | |
The Facilities department, hand-in-hand with Engineering, maintains the physical systems and spaces of the station. Inclusive of the tasks for which Facilities is responsible are:

| Personnel | |
The Personnel sub-department is responsible for all aspects of beings-relations, and management of all military and civilian employees of the base. Personnel handles all billet assignments (in coordination with the Executive Officer), as well as management of the Promenade mechant area.
Any inquiries as to applications for service aboard Starbase Phoenix should be forwarded to the Operations Department.
| Tactical Operations | |
Tactical Operations is responsible for the physical defense of the station in the event of an external attack. The duty Tactical Officer maintains a post at the Command and Control (CNC) center, and coordinates all exterior defensive and offensive assets on a constant basis.
