Welcome to Outpost Hope One, a collection of Federation installations located in and around the Dyson's Sphere found in the Delta Quadrant. The mission of the Starfleet and Federation Marine Corps personnel assigned to Hope One is to explore the Sphere. Located near the only know stable worm hole that connects the Delta Quadrant back to the Alpha Quadrant, the Sphere itself has a greatly strategic location to both the Federation, its Allies and its Enemies.
Outpost Hope One is a PBeM or Play By e-Mail role playing game (RPG) based on the Star Trek universe. It is commonly refered to as a 'Simulation' or 'sim'. It is actually a creative writing excerise where the writers, refered to as players create and control the actions of a single character. The group of players known as the 'crew' work together to create a continous, evolving and expanding plot.
If you enjoy writing science fiction based on the Star Trek Universe (with a bit of B5, Alien, and X-Files thrown in), we invite you to submit a membership application. If accepted, your character will be assigned to our duty station, where you will join other fans in creating a tandem story line filled with action, intrigue, danger and romance.There is no cost associated with becoming a Hope One member! All that is required is a means of sending / receiving E-Mail. It is also recommended that you have the latest version of either Netscape or Internet Explorer to fully take advantage of the benefits and resources provided through the Hope One web site.
