History

Here's what used to be new, but now has been relegated to the dust bins of history. This list goes back only to March 2000, when the site was reorganized.

12/27/2003: Added the first turns of the Ed solo game, Shell Game. See Chapter 1: Before the Fall, and Chapter 2: The Fall.

12/22/2003: Added the link to John Scalera's new VC: New York game.

12/15/2003: Added new turns. See Asylum Chapter 15: The Draft  and Chapter 16: The Unusual Suspects.

11/16/2003: Added the character sheets for all players of Asylum.

11/6/2003: For those of you who missed the first Team-Ups story, Our Paranormal Chernobyl (or if you played and you need a quick reminder), you can read the Chernobyl Summary.

8/29/2003: Floor Plans of the Sears Tower.

8/22/2003: The First seven turns of the new game, Asylum.

6/21/2003: The final chapter of Our Paranormal Chernobyl.

(3/23/2003): Updated the finished Turn 57, The Mother of All Battles. It's everyone versus the Sontag, the shapeshifter's mother. The casualties mount, and everything comes down to one woman's final decision. 

Also uploaded Turn 58, The Turn in Progress.

(12/29/2002): Updated the combat map: Turn 2, Phase 10.

(12/17/2002): Updated the combat map: Turn 2, Phase 6!

(12/3/2002): The master villain is revealed! Uploaded Turn 55, What Lies Beneath, as well as Turn 56, Argonauts, and Turn 57, The Turn in Progress. Also uploaded the latest combat map.

(11/14/2002): Uploaded the remainder of Turn 54, 900 Miles to New Orleans, Turn 55, The Turn in Progress, and the combat map.

(10/23/2002): Uploaded the completed Turn 53, Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers, and Turn 54, The Turn in Progress. In "Finders Keepers," Pender goes to pick up the baby, Maggie and Goo go to pick up Goran, and Iggy the 400-hundred foot tall naked lab experiment goes to pick up Ed and Stranger—PRIMUS goon squad or no PRIMUS goon squad. Crossfire is knocked out, arrested, and rescued, all in the space of ten seconds. And finally, Ed picks up the interrogation of Reinhardt-Mapes where Stranger left off, pulling answers from the man's dirty little mind.

(6/4/2002): Uploaded turn 52, Slings and Arrows. Crossfire finally faces in combat the Black Knight, the armored warrior who killed his parents, and Blake has the outrageous fortune of having to do it while crippled and confined to a wheelchair. Shall he take arms against a sea of troubles? Are you kidding? Also, Pender and Maggie hatch their own plan to protect the baby, Maggie gets a strangely convenient call from the missing scientist Goran, and we finally get to find out what Darius has been up to all this time.

(5/12/2002): Uploaded turn 51: Voices in the Dark  and turn 52: The Turn in Progress.

(1/2/2002): Uploaded turn 50: The Strongest One There I-i-i-s. It's Stranger Vs. Everone—need I say more? 

(11/26/2001): Uploaded the Current Battle Map (Turn 1, Phase 10b.) 

10/22/2001: Uploaded the Current Battle Map, as well as new pics for Stranger's Mask (above) and Goo. Also uploaded an updated character sheet and picture for Crossfire.

09/25/2001: Uploaded the new turn, Scene 49: Remind Me Never to Take You to a Monkey Knife Fight. Pender brings the baby to Crossfire, hoping to heal the archer and shed some light on her own miraculous recovery. Eli retrieves the bag that may hold all the secrets of Chernobyl's Genesis. Meanwhile, Goo and Stranger try to shake loose a few secrets from B and K's pilots. With the encouragement of a talking rat, Stranger ratchets up the pace of the interrogation with the world's most extreme handshake.

07/09/2001: Uploaded the complete Scene 48: The Man (and Woman) Behind the Curtain. Victorious, the team bandages its wounded, consoles the victims, and begins the interrogation of the humans behind the robots—and oh, what sordid humans they are. Will Stranger and Goo let them out of the van alive?

Also uploaded Scene 49, the first part of the turn in progress. 

05/28/2001: Uploaded scenes 45, 46, 47, and 48, featuring the team's toughest battle yet.

05/15/2001: Uploaded Scene 44, Don't Rain on My Parade. The team figures its next move, and with the help of Barbra Streisand, Goo figures out one-third of its identity crisis. Don't miss Chernobyl's big musical number!

3/18/2001: Uploaded the conclusion of Scene 42, all of Scene 43, and a few paragraphs from Scene 44, the turn in progress. In When You Gaze into the Abyss... a psychotic Ed goes after the rest of the team... and the team goes after him. Then, in Born Lucky, a dying Agent Pender attends the birth of a very strange child. And Turn in Progress is just… in progress.

2/5/2001: Uploaded Scene 41: You Can't Keep a Good Man Down. Jigsaw awakes, and the group has to scramble to avoid another bloodbath. Crossfire makes a timely reappearance, but the nightmare isn't over. One of the group goes down in a pool of blood—and the attacker is one of their own! Warning: This chapter not suitable for children. Also uploaded the first part of the turn in Progress: Scene 42: When You Gaze Into the Abyss.

1/1/2001: Uploaded an improved DiceRoller—now you can choose the hit location or let it be rolled randomly.

12/5/2000: Uploaded the complete Scene 39: Before the Big Ball, and the turns so far in Scene 40: The Inside Scoop.

10/27/2000: Uploaded the complete Scene 38: The Death Artist.

10/25/2000: Finished Scene 36: It's What's on the Inside that Counts, and added the first 3/4 of Scene 38: The Death Artist. In a sculpture of human flesh, Ed, Pender, and Stranger find a single survivor, while outside, Maggie and Goo arrive to pick up the pieces.

10/18/2000: Added Scene 37: What's a Goo like You…? As an unconscious Crossfire is wheeled away, Maggie tries to help Goo figure out how it got into a place like this, and the new meta begins to put the clues of it's identity together.

10/16/2000: Finished Scene 34: Hunting Scavengers, added Scene 36: It's What's on the Inside that Counts, and updated the character sheets for Ed, Stranger, and Goo.

9/14/2000: Added Scene 35: I Ain't Got No Body. In the middle of a firefight between Crossfire, Maggie, and the plastic-skinned people, a new meta is born—and it's got at least three parents. It's a bird, it's a plane, it's... Goo! This is the first appearance of new player JR Jenks.

8/19/2000: Added  Scene 30: I Want My MRI. Stranger infiltrates Cook County General, runs across some of Crossfire's friends, then forcibly schedules an MRI to figure out what those pesky pellets are doing in his body.

6/18/2000: Added more to Scene 31: The Raid—the return of Argo the Talking Dog! Also added a new scene, Scene 32: Special Deliveries. Giordano's delivers the best pizza in the world, Ed delivers a tele-gram to Pender's brain, and Pender delivers some news to Hammersmith.

5/28/2000: Added two scenes. In Scene 29: Wrap It Up, I'll Take It, Crossfire gets lunch and heads back to the Evidence Lab. Then, after Pender gets all she's going to get out of Jack, Ed drops the big meta like a sack of potatoes.  In Scene 31: The Raid, Crossfire teams up with Maggie and Hammersmith, and raids the Sontag lab. Maggie figures out what the bad guys are up to.

5/9/2000: Added Scene 28: Unlinking. Hungry Jack coughs up Crossfire, Ed finally gets out of that PRIMUS net, and Crossfire takes the high road out of there.

4/16/2000: Added Scene 25, Pender's Story, and Scene 27, Linkages.

April 1, 2000: It's no April Fool's joke: Scenes 23 and 26 are live. See Crossfire shoot Ed! See PRIMUS shoot Ed! See Hungry Jack eat Crossfire! This marks the introduction of Mike's character, Acting Silver Avenger Laura Pender.

3/31/2000: New content: Posted scenes 22 and 24: Maggie vs. Stranger! Also put up the character sheet for Agent Pender and the revised sheet for Ed. Also, I reorganized the Turns table of contents to show the time of day.

3/30/2000: Completely reorganized the site, and promptly forgot all the history of what went up when. But you don't care, do you? I didn't think so.
